Nature's Curiosities

Another set of postcards, which is called Nature's Curiosities. It's inspired by my findings in our backyard, vintage apothecary jars and my love for nature science museums. I made these paintings a while ago, but now they finally got printed onto postcards!

Beautiful quotes

I love hand lettering, I love old package design and beautiful quotes. These things combined led to one of my new sets of postcards.

1. My dear friend Isabelle requested this one, it's a classic, but neverteheless very hartwarming. / 2. A good excuse to draw an old fashioned package design. / 3. This is a quote that I made a while ago- you maybe recognise it. It's from Home - Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zero's. / 4. Funny and simple. / 5. All you need is... / 6. Beautiful quote from Zen Master Thich Nath Hanh.

Woodland Animals in pen and ink

My new postcard designs are at the printing office!  They will be ready next week. I'm so excited!

I have worked very hard to get them ready, because I wanted twenty four different illustrations printed at the same time. Together they make four different sets, each containing six different postcards. Below you can see one collection, it's called Woodland Animals.

Vintage cars and cats

Here are two new designs to my series 'cats and cars'.

These little cats love camping and so do I! This painting reminds me of my childhood, when we put up a tent in our backyard, dragged a whole pile of blankets and cushions in it and read books in the light of a flashlight until we fell asleep.

I really like the design of this car. I didn't know which type it was, but my car-obsessed brother told me it is a Gogomobile Coupe. It's a great car to picture yourself going on an adventurous voyage around the world with.

These ones below I painted a while ago

I love vintage cars, especially the Citroën Ds. For our wedding, my husband rented a Ds as a surprise for me. So it was inevitable that I had to paint one.
